Whatsapp rolled out new features data transfer for users.
The world’s most popular application WhatsApp, has rolled out a data transfer feature for users, which will be available to all users in a few months.
WhatsApp will be rolling out a number of new features this year with the aim of outpacing other apps and maintaining user trust in the app.
In the past few days WhatsApp also introduced other features including the discussion group feature which was liked by the users.
However, according to a report by Web Beta Info, a new feature to transfer WhatsApp data from one Android phone to another Android phone via Wi-Fi has been introduced in the beta version of WhatsApp.
This feature will eliminate the need for Google Drive to transfer data and it will be possible with a QR code.
The new chat feature is available to few users in WhatsApp beta versions 2.23.1.26 and 2.23.1.27.
How to use the feature
Step 1: Install WhatsApp in a new Android device,
Step 2: Now select the Import Chats option, after which the device’s camera will open to scan the QR code.
Step 3: Now go to WhatsApp settings in your old device and click on export data option, then one QR code will appear, after that scanning the QR code from the new device will transfer the data.
This feature is likely to be rolled out to all users in the next few months.
